Working draft Background on Predictive Control ( some selected papers )

The aim of this work is to analyse and describe some selected papers concerned with the use of predictive control in the context of time-delay systems. This note does not intend to be exhaustive but tries to point out some major developments that occurred in the last thirty years, and more specifically the use of a predicted state in a feedback control design, in order to locate our work in this framework. The frequency domain approaches are not considered here since they can not be used in the context of time-varying delay.
